I love jam, but I hate that it’s full of sugar! When my babies were young, I discovered chia seed jam via The Natural Nurturer. Fast forward several months, and one of my Instagram buddies via @blwfun, @whatsbabyeating, posted a recipe for plum chia seed jam. Of course, by the time I got around to making it I had forgotten who posted the recipe, so I found one from theKitchn which was delish!
BTW- for babies under 1, just sub pure maple syrup for the honey and you’re good to go!
This was easy and fast, ready in less than 10 minutes. If you’re looking for a jam alternative, chia seed jam is a great way to go!
